Give your party room a blue makeover using full wall appliques depicting underwater scenes complete with octopi, coral reefs, sharks, mantas, and a glorious assortment of tropical fish. Some wall appliques even feature sunken treasures or ships. Follow this up with mylar balloons shaped like your favorite marine creatures. Of course the main color in your color scheme should be a deep rich blue or a pretty light ocean mist blue.

The other color or colors should be any that you like but won’t clash with the theme. Maroon, gold, silver, and turquoise will also compliment your deep ocean blues. Select table cloths in your main blue color choice then sprinkle a wide variety of confetti shaped like oceanic creatures over your table covers. Your centerpieces should be dolphins, mermaids, or baby sea animals surrounded by decorations resembling seaweed or coral reefs.
