Invitations Decorations Balloon Pacifiers Balloon Decorations

This Baby Shower was for my niece, my brothers first grand baby and he asked me to make it the best most unique idea ever, and I think we accomplished this! Our theme was baby feet and we had to do everything in pink and blue as she didn't want to know the sex of the baby.

Invitations: We sent out an email invite with all the information about the baby shower along with a picture of a pregnant lady (as shown).

Pink and Blue Streamers on everything, paper fuzzy balls hanging from anyplace we could hang them, hanging baby feet.

The balloons I made to look like soothers and rattles and I used baby bottles from the craft shop filled with mini white rocks and tied with blue and pink and yellow strings as balloon weights.

We parked off the mother to be parking spot in the drive way with a Mother to be Banner and holding each end of the banner was a balloon rattle on the side and the balloon soother on the end. We had blown up balloons and put sticks on them (sticks from balloon supplier) and stuck balloons in the grass all the way up the sidewalk. We hung more balloons and decorations on the porch. (All the neighborhood kids watched and were so excited). Candy Baby Feet and baby feet centerpieces on tables along with mini baby bottles and large pink and blue soothers.

Instructions for Balloons: You will need helium tank; to make the rattle balloons you take a 16" clear balloon and a 12" to 14" colored round balloons and a colored doughnut balloon and a clowns animal making straight balloon. You blow up the 15" clear balloon just half way and with a pencil put one of the 12-14" balloons inside the 16" balloon. Keep doing this one after the other until you have enough small Balloons in the large balloon to make look like a rattle. Finish blowing up the 16" balloon and tie leaving a nice tail for trying. Blow up the doughnut and straight balloons and tie them also leaving a tail. Now hold the 16" balloon and take the straight balloon and attach both ends to the 16" balloon. Attach to the Baby bottle weights and the string.

The soother rattle are put together the same way but use colored balloons for the 16" but all the balloons are the same for both just blown up to what you think looks like a good size.
