.....Part 3 of Corina's Fabulous Baby Shower

Games: As people came in each received a bottle with a frozen baby and a necklace with a soother on the end.

Frozen Baby: The first person to melt the water to free the baby yells MY WATER BROKE! and they won a prize. People held it between their legs everything to help make it melt. Fill a miniature baby bottle 1/4 full of water and freeze add a little baby and fill again to the top and freeze again.

Necklace: If a person was caught saying the word Baby, whoever caught them got to take one of how ever many people collected the necklace. The person with the most necklaces at the end of the night won the prize!

Fashion Show: Everyone separated into 4 teams and took 12 rolls of toilet paper into 3
separate rooms. they had to pick one person to be the model and they had 5
minutes to use the toilet paper to make a diaper on the model.
After the 5 minutes everyone but the models came out and sat down, the
mother to be called the models in one at a time and they walked down a long
hallway and modeled their diapers and explained why they thought their
diaper was going to be the next fashion craze until the final model came
out, the mother to be was the judge and the winning team each received a
prize. this game was so priceless and funny.

Sock Game:
I purchased 30 baby socks from the dollar store and mixed them up 2 guests
had to race and match up as many as they could until they had all been match
up. BUT WAIT! the person that thought they won and did the happy dance
didn't win. I tricked them and I purchased a couple pairs in the same color
and design but one was for a 12mth and the other was for a 18mth just a
little bit larger but hard to see when you're in a rush. the look on the
persons face after they did a dance and all to find out they lost so funny,
okay a little mean but still funny. just a little twist on an old game.

Rice Bowl:
the person that can pick out the most safety pins from the rice wins. sounds
easy but I guarantee you it is not.
filled 3 bowls with rice and put in each bowl 12 safety pins.
blind folded 3 guests and they had to pick out as many safety pins as they
could in 5 minutes. talk about frustration they all accused me of not
putting in pins in and after the sock game the trust level was already low.
everyone was amazed it was so hard. the most the winner pulled was 6 safety
pins.
I used a variety size pack of safety pins to make it more interesting but
you can use all the same large size.

Feed Me:
6 guests sat 3 in a row across from each other, blind folded both and one
wore a bib and one got a baby jar full of baby food and a spoon. the one had
to feed the other while both blind folded and the first to finish the baby
food won. so funny for us that just watched. (not a messy as you would think
it would be)

Left and Right Circle:
All the guests sat in a circle with one of them holding a gift and the
mother to be was handed a story about miss Wright and as she read the story
out loud every time they heard left or right in the story the passed the
gift to that person on their left or right, it was so confusing and fun they
asked me to play it 3 times.

We had enough gifts for all 25 guests so that is why we rotated who played
what game so everyone could play and watch. worked out great. our gifts were
a little over the top. we had custom made Peruvian jewellery from anklets
with toe rings to whole 4 piece sets. everyone said they really liked a
useful gift they had never had that before and what a keepsake.

Watch what you say:
As the mother to be opened gifts, my mom wrote down what she said such as oh
it's so cute. never seen anything so small. and so on. when she was done

opening gift my mom stood up and said this is what the mother to be said on
the night of conception to her husband and repeated oh it's so small and so
on. we all laughed so hard.

Poop Toss:
we had this game ready but with everyone wanting to play the rice game and
lefty righty game over and over we didn't have time.
but it was 6 diapers assembled and taped together 3 then 2 then 1
4 brown socks filled with dried beans and made into a ball. we would of
tossed the poop into the diapers set up like bowling and whoever got more
points would of won a gift.

Favors:
everyone went home with
A cupcake with a real looking baby topper, sorry no pictures but I did
include a picture of the baby and I put the baby on top of a cupcake covered
with fondant and icing to look like a cloud and the baby laying on the
cloud. I packaged this cupcake in a clear plastic cupcake holder and filled
the bottom with colored chocolates and beads. (made enough for me to have
one and a couple extra but I guess the guests liked them and none left for
my brother or myself to keep as someone took more than one I guess)

4 Chocolate baby treats on a stick (picture shown)
1 Treat bag filled with chocolates and candy (picture shown)
1 Crystal baby bottle key chain (Picture shown)
1 Crystal baby bootie

Daddy's - Stool Belt:
I made my own and included a super soaker, face mask and all the other stuff
listed on this web site. I purchased the apron from the hardware store and
did the writing in cloth approved pens. The father laughed so hard and was
so happy to be included it now hangs in the baby's room and he shows it
every chance he gets. lol

Lefty/Righty Game
This is a story about Mrs. Wright's baby shower tea party. She lived right at the end of Lefty Lane, the third house on the left. Today, Mrs. Wright's was hosting a baby shower tea party. The women would enter left, right through the front door and greet Mrs. Wright, they would head right down the stairs, turning left then right into Mrs. Wright's family room where the mommy-to-be was.

Two of the girls were left-handed so they would sit at the left of the table. Mrs. Wright held up her right hand and all of her friends grew quiet, except the left-handed girl on the right patting Mrs. Wright's dog named Hefty Lefty.

Mrs. Wright asked Sarah Wright and Julie Wright to pass out the teacups starting to the left. Sarah Wright and Julie Wright started out left but turned back because they left the cups just to the right of the table, right next to the spoons. Mrs. Wright said, "That's all right."

Mrs. Wright began to serve her friends some pie when Grandma Wright smelled the delicious desserts and left her bedroom to join the Wright girls. She went down the stairs and turned left than right, right into Mrs. Wright's family room.

Grandma Wright knocked and entered left and sat in the rocking chair on the left. Sarah Wright and Julie Wright invited Grandma Wright to join them at the table.

Grandma Wright had been to many baby showers as a young girl and right before they realized it, Grandma Wright was telling them a stories from when she was the mommy-to-be and went to the right cabinet and in the left drawer were pictures of her baby shower.

As the party ended right on time, they all put their dishes right in the left side of the sink and thanked Mrs. Wright and Grandma Wright for such a wonderful time. Soon, all of the women from the Wright baby shower tea party turned right than left, then left again to return to the front door and out to the right car that they arrived in. Down lefty lane they went. Now who ended up with the right gift?

The shower was wonderful and the emails and calls we received was so worth
all the work, everyone said they had never been to such a over the top fun
baby shower. My brother was very pleased, broke but pleased lol
