This beautiful Butterfly Cake was made by Carrie in Oak Hills, Ca. It is a white cake with raspberry filling covered in MMF butterflys made from Rice paper and Royal icing.
Thank you Lori from Twin Falls, Idaho! We love your butterfly cake.A baby shower cake I did for a friend. I got to try some things I hadn't done before. And naturally, learned some things not to do! The board is covered in MMF Fondant with polka dots cut out and filled in with a contrasting circle. That was fun to do. I also did it with the butterfly wings. I need practice on butterfly bodies, though. Iced in buttercream with MMF accents.
