Begin by purchasing 10-12 new pairs of baby socks and booties. Take a laundry basket and mix all the socks. When you are ready to play the game, give the basket to the player and set the timer for one minute. The player is to see how many socks they can correctly match together. The player who gets the most is the winner! At the end of shower, Mommy gets to keep all new socks for baby.

The Paper Plate babyshower game

Begin by purchasing some inexpensive paper plates and pencils. Pass a plate and pencil to each player. When you say go each player is to put the paper plate on top of their head and "try" to draw a picture of baby. When they are all done, pass the works of art to Mama-to-be and she will choose the one she likes best and that will be your winner! This game is hilarious because most pictures the guests draw resemble insects or aliens.

Mommys Purse babyshower game

Make a list ahead of time of items you may find in a purse. For example lipstick, hand cream, hand sanitizer, mirror, etc and allow low points for each of these items. Then make a list of some harder items like a fork, dictionary, map,sugar, etc. for the harder things give more points. The winner who has the most points in the winner! Be creative in making your list and make it fun.

Creative Onesie babyshower game

This game is a little different and shows the creative side of your guests. Begin by purchasing some plain white onesies, fabric paint and other crafty stuff. Each guest is to get a onesie and decorate it. After everyone is done let the fashion extravaganza begin. Have each guest show off their work of art and have Mommy to be select the one she likes the best. This is the winner! Mommy gets to keep all the cool onesies for baby.

Price is Right babyshower game

Begin by purchasing about eight baby items. For example, diapers, desitin, infant tylenol, pack of onesies, etc. Put all items in a basket. Take out each item one at a time and show your players. As they look at each item they should write down how much they think each item costs. At the end they will tally the total and whoever comes closest to the actual cost is the winner! Mommy to be gets to keep all the goodies for baby.

Baby Bottle Shower Game

This game is so much fun! Buy some new plastic bottles and fill them with drink. Have each player take a bottle, maybe 3-4 guests and have them begin drinking at the same time. The player who finishes their bottle first is the winner. This game is so funny especially if the guys play. It's not as easy as we think.

Baby Poopie Shower Game

Begin by purchasing some disposable diapers. Take about 5 and smear different substances on each diaper. For example, one with melted chocolate, mayonnaise, mustard, jelly etc. Pass around the diapers and have each player guess what each substance is. They are allowed to look and smell. They must write down on a sheet of paper what each is. The one with the correct answer wins!

Diaper the Baby Shower Game

Blinfold your players and hand them a doll and diaper. When you say go, see who can diaper the baby the fastest with the blindfold on. Not too easy for those who don't have experience changing diapers, but still fun!

Baby Shower Raffle

A Baby Shower Raffle can be a fun activity to have at your baby shower. I will give you easy instructions on how to have a baby shower raffle. Prepare your raffle before your guests arrive. Get a shoe box and wrap it with baby shower wrapping paper.

Next print out some cute raffle tickets with something nice that coordiates with your baby shower theme. Make sure there is a line so that the player can write their name.

Make sure you have a nice gift that you will be raffling off. Something the guests would enjoy for themselves, not a baby gift. Perhaps a nice purse or some jewelry. Depending on the gift you can choose how much you would like to sell the tickets for.

As they pay for the ticket they will insert their name inside the shoe box. At the end of the shower you can announce the winner of the raffle. All the money collected can be given to Parents-to-be to purchase some diapers.

Baby Advice Cards

A sweet idea for new mommy to be is to make some mommy advice cards. It is something you can do with all your guests that the mommy-to-be will surely enjoy. Begin by passing out a pen to each guest along with an index card. Prior to the game you can decorate your cards with baby shower themes.

Have each guest write a little advice for the New Mommy or Daddy to be on an index card. Most experienced parents have some valuable advice for the new parents. They can share their secrets that will really help them out.

After everyone has completed their card you can gather them and give them all to Mommy to be. She can then read them later and perhaps put in her baby book.

Baby Shower Scrabble

Begin by passing out a sheet of paper and pencil to each of your guests.

Next write down the Mommys name and the Daddys game. When you say go, the player will try to see how many names they can come up with using letters from Mommy and Daddys name.

The person who comes up with the most names wins! This is also a great game if parents have not chosen a name for new baby yet.

Baby Meaning Game

Before you play this baby shower game, you will have to do a little research. Begin by looking up popular girls and boys names. Next look for the meanings of the names. You can easily look online or purchase a baby book with name meanings.

Next get a sheet of paper and list the names on one side and the meanings of names on the other. Don't put them in order but mix them so that your players can make a line to match the name with the meaning. When this is prepared make copies for your players.

The player who matches the correct names along with the meaning is the winner!

Watermelon Baby

You will need a watermelon, a blanket, a piece of paper for each guest and a pencil.

Before you're party wrap the watermelon in a baby blanket and weigh the watermelon, write down the pounds and ounces.

Before you begin pass out a piece of paper and pencil to each guest. The party hostess will take turns passing around baby watermelon. Let every guest carry baby watermelon for a few minutes then write down the weight they believe baby watermelon is.

The winner is the one who guesses the correct weight, or comes closest!
