Baby Shower Cookies make cute Baby Shower Favors

My what a lovely baby shower party spread you have there! Looks like you’ve got everything taken care of: tableware, cake, candy, decorations, and centerpieces are all in place. Have you thought about baking up some special cookies just for your party celebration? Cookies go a long way with guest. Some guest get a sweet tooth, but it’s embarrassing to ask for cake before you cut it. Those cupcakes may seem intimidating to come guests too. But those cookies, oh yeah those will hit the spot! Ideas with cookies are limitless so I’ll just mention a few neat, cute ways to present these tiny delicacies.

A few adorable ideas are to use frosting on your cookies to make sleeping baby faces, pacifiers, bottles, blankets, strollers, or anything else that lends itself to your baby shower. You may even follow the theme you chose. If you have construction as your theme, then have little tools on your cookies in gum paste, frosting or icing.

If all this seems a little too complicated for cookies, then consider purchasing three or four tiny cookie cutters in shapes related to your theme. Instead of cutting the cookie dough, make shaped cookies, round, star, or hexagon, then use the cookie cutters on the inside. Take out the excess and recycle the dough.Your cookies can be as creative or as simple as you choose. The more time and resources you commit to your cookies, the better, more lasting the impression you are going to make on your guests.
